Meridian Garden Club has presented many flower shows for public viewing. Our most recent show was held in the Meridian Historical Village in September 2024. It was named “Yesteryear” to coordinate with the settings for classes in the various buildings in the village.
We also participate in flower shows offered by our district and by other clubs.

At the Yesteryear Flower Show, horticulture was entered in these classes: flowering annuals, flowering perennials, perennials grown for foliage, herbs, ferns, ground covers, vegetables/fruit, vines, bulbs/tubers/corms, ornamental grasses, collections, and combination plantings.

All the flower show entries were judged by a team of nationally accredited flower show judges.

Educational exhibits describe organizations or programs relevant to each flower show’s theme but also related to club objectives.
